BSL 3 Laboratory

Summary:

"The purpose of this laboratory is to develop diagnostic tests, vaccines, and biomarkers of infectious agents prevalent in the El Paso/ Ciudad Juarez and McAllen, Texas border commmunities. Research emphasis on West Nile Virus and Mycobacterium tuberculosis are currently underway.
